One week only after the last Green Digital Charter signature, two more cities have agreed to adhere to our initiative.

The cities of Edinburgh (UK) and Turin (Italy), have joined our initiative last 8 November, raising the number of signatories to 34. The Green Digital Charter signatories altogether now represent about 20 million citizens across 14 European countries.

Lord Provost Donald Wilson signed for Edinburgh while Turin was represented by Councillor for Environment Enzo lavolta.

The signature has taken place in Nantes in occasion of the 2012 Annual Conference of EUROCITIES in front of Paul Bevan, EUROCITIES secretary general, and Nigel Murphy, Manchester deputy mayor and newly elected vice chair of the Knowledge Society Forum of EUROCITIES.
