Green Digital Charter

On Thursday 17 October Oisín Quinn, the Lord Mayor of Dublin, signed the Green Digital Charter making the city of Dublin the latest signatory of this important European initiative.
The signing took place, via teleconference connection, during the ceremonial knowledge society forum meeting of EUROCITIES (20 years of the forum) in Manchester where the Lord Mayor was welcomed by Sir Richard Leese, leader of Manchester City Council.
The number of major European cities that have signed the Green Digital Charter is now 41, eleven of which are capital cities.
